Connect BotLance to your AI assistant

Connect an AI assistant to BotLance and it can answer questions about your workspace — your chatbots, knowledge base, conversations, integrations and usage — using live data.

Your BotLance server URL
https://botlance.app/mcp

You'll paste this into your assistant's connector settings. You'll be asked to sign in to BotLance and approve access the first time.

Connect your assistant

  1. Open ChatGPT Settings → Apps → Advanced and turn on Developer mode (read the risk notice shown there). If it isn't available, ask a ChatGPT admin to enable it.
  2. Click the "Create app" button next to the back button.
  3. Enter a name such as BotLance and paste the server URL above.
  4. Click "Create".
  5. Enable the app from the chat composer, then ask ChatGPT to use BotLance.

Refresh after BotLance changes

Assistants remember what BotLance could do when you connected. After we ship updates, refresh the connection to pick them up.
